1º Who is responsible for the processing of data?

2º. What is personal data used for?
Data is used for all aspects of the registration for the VIII World Congress and for communication purposes.
Providing personal data is mandatory to be able to attend the training services offered.
3º. How long is data kept?
The personal data provided will be retained as long as the contractual relationship lasts, or as long as there is no request for deletion by the interested party. However, data will remain blocked during the relevant period of prescription. Contractual liability lasts for a period of five years.
4º. What is the legitimation for the processing of data?
The legal basis for the processing of your data is your consent and the provision of training services of the General Foundation of the University of Malaga.
The sending of commercial communications carried out by the person responsible for data processing, is covered by your consent, given expressly and free, and which may be revoked at any time upon request.
You expressly consent that your image captured in photos or videos can be published on our corporate website.
It is necessary to process data relating to your health (specifically food allergies or special dietary requirements), in order to provide a suitable catering service at the Congress. Consent and the processing of such data is covered by Article 9.2. (c) of the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679.
5º. Who can receive your data?
When appropriate, data will be shared with those entities or bodies as required by law and with our data processors. You may also communicate with the relevant professionals and entities necessary for the development of the Congress, including the following:
- Catering services
- Insurance provider
- Printing service
- University of Malaga
There is no international transfer of data.
6º- What are your rights regarding your data?
Your rights are governed by the General Data Protection Regulation, and include:
- The right to access, rectify or delete data, and oppose and limit processing and transmission of data.
- The right to revoke your consent when it has been given for a particular purpose.
- These rights can be exercised by a certified letter or in person at our headquarters. The form for this process can be provided on request from us.
- You also have the right to complain to the supervisory authority when not satisfied in the exercise of your rights, by submitting a written request (email or postal) to the Register.

7º. What is the origin of your data?
Your data has been received because it has been provided directly. The processed data may consist of names, surnames, identification document number, telephone numbers, email and postal addresses, account number, business information, as well as specially protected data related to health, such as information regarding food allergies or special dietary needs.
